OVERVIEW
The Sierra Leone donor conference, also known as the Consultative Group meeting (CG), will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London on the 18th and 19th of November. The conference will start with preliminary meetings on the 18th of November to review progress in key sectors and will be followed by the main meeting on the 19th of November hosted by His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma, the UK Minister for International Development and the World Bank Vice President for Africa.
The meeting on the 18th of November, 2009, will focus on opportunities for increased partner interventions in our strategic priority sectors, ensuring coherence in government policy and building capacities for sustainable donor partner and Government commitments.
The Consultative Group (CG) meeting will provide the platform for the Government of Sierra Leone to present its new “Agenda for Change”: Poverty Reduction Strategy II and identify major challenges, funding requirements and priority areas of Government and donor interventions associated with its three year implementation period.

OIC-DFID Special Session
OVERVIEW
This is a special session of the OIC and DFID to discuss Sierra Leone with the OIC member states. The meeting will be held at the QE2 conference centre on the 18th November, starting at 1.30pm. Attendance is by invite only due to the limited seating available.
